What Is a Username?
Your username is the unique identifier tied to your Moea account, making it easy to interact within the Moea app and community.
Where to Find Your Username
1. Open the Moea mobile app.
2. Tap the Account icon (person icon).
3. Select Edit Profile — your current username appears at the top.

Can I Log In with My Username?
No. For security, Moea requires you to log in with the email address associated with your account.
How to Create or Change Your Username
1. Tap the Account icon (person icon).
2. Choose Edit Profile.
3. Enter a preferred username in the field provided and save your changes.

Choosing a Secure Username
When selecting a username, make sure it is unique and identifiable to you while following Moea’s App Use Standards.
Important — never include:
- Social‑Security numbers
- Your primary email address
- Bank‑account numbers
- Any other sensitive personal identifiers
Keeping sensitive data out of your username helps protect your privacy.
Username Requirements & Restrictions
- Length — 3 – 20 characters.
- Allowed characters — letters (a–z | A–Z), numbers (0–9), and underscores (_).
- Uniqueness — must not duplicate an existing Moea username.
Prohibited usernames:
- Contain inappropriate, profane, or offensive terms.
- Imply false affiliation with Moea, Inc. or any partner company.
- Use trademarks, protected terms, or misleading phrases.

Username Visibility & Privacy Controls
You control who can view your username:
- Open the app → Profile → Privacy Settings to adjust visibility.
*Note:* By default, other Moea users may search for and view your username in social or community features. You can opt out at any time. No one outside the Moea platform can access your profile information.
